PlayHot Portable Handheld Turbo Fan Review
5-speed, 12-hour foldable travel fan with an LED battery display.
TL;DR
A competent handheld fan at $16.99. It moves air well, but it cannot lower the temperature of the air it moves — that is the gap between it and our winner.

First impressions
The LED battery display is the standout detail — you always know where you stand, which is rarer than it should be in this category.
How it performs in use
On a warm commute it is genuinely useful. On a 95°F afternoon it becomes a hairdryer on cold: plenty of movement, no relief, because the air it delivers is the same temperature as the air around you.
Build and durability
The folding hinge is the weak point over a season of daily use, but at this price the maths still works for most buyers.
Verdict
If your problem is stale, still air, this solves it for very little money. If your problem is actual heat — the kind that makes you feel unwell — you are better served by a device that chills the air rather than one that relocates it.
Pros and cons
- ✓Genuinely strong airflow for the size
- ✓Folds into a desk stand
- ✓LED display shows remaining battery
- ✓Low price, wide colour choice
- ✗It moves hot air around — it never actually chills the air like the IceForce does
- ✗Top speed is loud enough that you will drop it back a gear indoors
